Goin on our HONEYMOON...Finally

Four months after our wedding, Kurt and I are finally going on our honeymoon. Of course we couldn't go right after the wedding because it was hunting season and Kurt can't leave during hunting season :) So we decided to wait until it was cold here in Montana, and go somewhere warm. We are going on a cruise to the Caribbean, and we can't wait! We will be stopping in the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten on our 7 day cruise. I will respond to emails and messages as soon as I get back! For now, here are a few pictures of our new puppy, Hass (pronounced hoss). He is our 2nd Australian Shepherd, and we love both of them. Hass is a red merle, and Zeiss is a blue merle. Zeiss is 16 months and Hass is 11 weeks! Enjoy!

Zeke

Are those not the biggest blue eyes you've ever seen? Meet Zeke. He is my sort-of-second-cousin..HA HA!! I have a crazy family that is too complicated to explain in one blog post. Anyway, my aunt asked me to do some pictures of him as a surprise Christmas present for his parents. So one cold afternoon we 'kidnapped' Zeke for his very first photo shoot! HOLY MOLY does this guy have fun in front of the camera :) He was so animated and was hamming it up for me with his many facial expressions. We had so much fun, and his parents loved it! These were some of my favs...they are sure to make you smile!

Becky & Derrick : Engagement

These two are ADORABLE!!! Becky, Derrick, and I go way back. I met Becky while doing a photo shoot for Tanning Unlimited two years ago, and I've know Derrick and his family most of my life. Becky told her mom that she had to have me as their photographer because I had already photographed Becky in her bathing suit, and she couldn't imagine anyone else photographing her big day because she was already so comfortable around me and my camera. They are so sweet and so in love. I can't wait to photograph their wedding in June. Thanks guys!

Megan & Pat : Engagements

When it's only 30 degrees or so outside, the last thing most people want to do is a photo session. This engagement session was one for the books! It was so cold outside, but Megan and Pat were troopers. We would drive from location to location, jump out, hurry and do some shots before our limbs were numb, and then hurry back to our cars where the heaters were cranked. I felt so bad for their poor fingers and noses (you'll notice they are a little red in some of the pictures), but they stuck it out, and we got some amazing shots! Thanks for hangin in there for me guys!

Baby Brown

Say hello to Lauren Brown and her soon to come Baby Brown! Lauren is a dear friend of mine. I met her about five years ago, and have worked with her ever since. She is an AMAZING photographer, and I owe a lot of my photography knowledge and skills to her. Let's just say Lauren took me under her wing, showed me the ropes of the photography world, and BAM...here I am today loving everything to do with photography and running my own business. I don't know where I would be with out her...I'm very blessed. I know she is going to be a great mommy! Seriously...look how beautiful she is with her adorable belly! I can't wait to meet her little miracle! Oh and it's a girl...just in case you were wondering :)
